Year 9 exploring new techniques

Year 9 are currently exploring new techniques as they work on the Mexican day of the dead project. Some pupils are doing glass painting and others are having a go at silk painting.
These are examples of the outline stages, as soon as they start adding colour,
I will take more pictures!
What's not to like!
Well done year 9 for being so open to new processes.

Wonderful work being created in art club at the moment.
Mrs Gascoine has been showing pupils how to make Day of the dead skulls in clay.
They look fantastic  and are currently being painted.
I can't wait to see them finished.
Well done art clubbers!

More examples of great concentration and effort in 8B2 class today. Pupils are painting their made up stories using symbols and patterns to  design imaginative outcomes.
These are coming on so well.
